Magical Sound-machines

Here’s a link to the website of a fascinating exhibit arranged by the Institute of Media Archaeology and the Vienna Museum of Technology.  Entitled “Zauberhafte Klangmaschine” (“Magical Sound-machines”), the exhibit features an array of sound technology from the 20th century, from the familiar (Moog) to the obscure (the “Portable Shorinophone”).  Texts are in English and German, with plenty of photos, video, and audio.
